A sad day, a sad week, we have said goodbye to two from our dear old boys: King and our Joep! Both were in their 10th year of life. Joep was a very relaxed, happy boy. Always looking for attention and wanted to be with us everywhere. He slowly grew old and at a sudden it was over. Thank you Joep for the great time together!!!

General information on Joep
As can been seen on the pedigree below, there are many "Barking Bunch" dogs in Joeps ancestors. Bandit Berny, Sir Sirius en Brainy Bas are all famous stud dogs in the Netherlands. And take care......all these dogs have reached the respectable age of 10 (TEN) years! Some other ancestors of him even reached a higher age: as e.g. Tawajah’s Nathan and Pomeriggio who reached 12 and 14 years respectively and Dona van ’t Norgerholt who also reached the age of 12 years old. Longevity is what belongs to Joeps pedigree and family lines! Besides longevity are also other aspects of health important!
It is good to now that Joep has a healthy family line: e.g. thinking on hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia. Almost all dogs, in 3 generations, are judges on hips and are all free with an A (minus), or a B (Tc). He has good hips himself as well! They are X-rayed and judged by the W.K. Hirschfeld Stichting (comparable to OFA in America) and his result is HD free (B-39). Also his elbows are judged and the result is : both perfect, ED 0/0; the best result possible!
Joep is a powerful, middle sized, beautiful and harmonically build male with a very sweet temperament. He passed the Swiss temperament test and also the exterior judgment (the latter with an excellent): a result to be proud on!
